It’s important to look after yourself, and have some self-care ideas on standby. A pedicure is a simple way to show yourself some love, as well as save yourself some money is by doing your spa pedicure at home. It’s really simple to do, and you can do it all or under…..£
Self-care is such an important part of life. Practising self-care isn’t all about bubble baths and hot chocolate (although that is an important part of it), it’s about building a life that you enjoy and finding ways to manage your stress that are also enjoyable. I’ve designed this easy to use free self-care worksheet that you can use. It not only gives you 20 different ways to practice self-care but also allows you to reflect on the day and work through how to make the next one better. It’s completely free for you, just click the button below.
What is a Spa Pedicure?
A spa pedicure has all the basics of your normal pedicure, but with the added luxury. You generally have your nails done, hard skin removed, a foot spa followed by a foot and lower leg massage. There are definitely steps you can take to have a spa pedicure at home, and you may even find that you have most of the things you need already.
Having your own products to give yourself a quality pedicure can save you $$$ in the long run. If you give yourself a pedicure once a month for a year it will cost you under £10!!! and that’s even with the optional extra’s. Get your friends, or family involved as well if you don’t want to give yourself one. You can always take turns to feel pampered.

What you Need to Have a Spa Pedicure at Home
Soap & Glory Heel Genius
This is amazing when I first used it I was a little shocked that it was blue?! It always leaves my feet feeling super soft after soaking in overnight. The perfect finish for a spa pedicure at home.
Soap & Glory The Heel Deal Snooze Socks
You can obviously just use a pair of cotton socks that you have at home, but these comfy socks not only make your pedicure feel a bit more special, they also help with the absorption of your foot cream.
Soap & Glory The Heel Deal Foot File
I bought one of these not that long ago, and will definitely never look back. For years I used a ‘Ped egg’. When I told my friend who is a beautician this, they said that a file (the Ped egg is more like a grater) is much better and will help to prevent such hard skin in the future.
Essie Nail Polish
Pick whichever colour suits your mood at the time! I chose this timeless pale pink because it goes with everything, all year round, Essie also has a quality varnish that doesn’t chip easily and it glides on super easy.
Toe Separators
A total must-have. These help to stop your varnish smudging against your other toes as your painting them as well as when they are drying.
Manicure Set
This is similar to a set that I use. I like this little mini sets because they come with everything in them, you can, however, purchase full-size tools that are much more professional.
For an Extra Treat Spa Pedicure at Home
These little extra’s are by no means compulsory. I’ve included the next 3 products because it’ll add to your experience and make it feel like so much more of a treat.
HoMedics Luxury Footspa
Who doesn’t love a good foot spa right? This is the perfect accompaniment to your spa pedicure at home and will leave your feet feeling lovely afterwards.
Boots Soothing Foot Bath
Add this to your foot spa to relieve hot and tired feet.
Essie Gel Couture Top Coat
Give your polish a glossy top coat so that your colour lasts longer. This topcoat will give you a salon finished look at home.
