You can buy Christmas decorations from just about anywhere, but not many of these place offer handmade, unique and individual ornaments that you adore. Below are the top 5 places to buy the most beautiful decorations that often support small businesses as well!!
Update for 2020
Don’t forget to keep all your lists in the same place. This Christmas planner has all sorts of pages to keep you organised as well as dedicated shopping lists for your craft items and for when you buy Christmas decorations for your tree. Perfect. All 20 pages are free for you to download. Just click below to download your free Christmas planner.
Etsy
I know, I must seem Etsy obsessed if you’ve been following the 30 day Christmas countdown. Etsy is an amazing place for those items you just can’t find anywhere else though.
Not on the highstreet
Another fab place for unique and often personalised items. I have always found the quality of gifts bought from not on the highstreet really good. Never had an issue with anything and delivery times are usually pretty snappy as well considering most items are personalised.
Paperchase
Although they don’t usually have a huge range of decorations, the ones they do have are quite quirky and out of the norm. Burger bauble anyone?!
Shop Locally and Buy Christmas Decorations for a Good Cause
Charity shops
I love a rummage in charity shops at the best of times and Christmas is no exception! Charity shops often have their own decorations for sale and ones that have been donated which means you can find some real gems. Plus you’re helping a good cause at the same time.
Local Christmas fairs or markets
This is an EVEN better way to support small businesses and they will probably be local as well. Wandering around a Christmas market is a great way to find those quirky items that you just wouldn’t find in shops.
Don’t forget to use your budget sheet to see how much you’ve allocated to new decorations and your decoration inventory sheet. Both of these can be found in the free 20 page ultimate Christmas planner which you can download for free at the bottom of the page.
