After a few weeks of creating content about looking after yourself while in lockdown, I discovered that I was putting a lot of pressure on myself. That’s when I found these mummy tag questions! So I decided to do a post just for fun and so you could get to know me as a mum a little better.
I know that usually someone is meant to ‘tag’ you and then you complete the questions and tag someone else to do them. I’ve just decided to do it, and if you want to take these questions and do the mummy tag yourself then feel absolutely free to do so!
20 Mummy Tag Questions
1. Are you a stay-at-home mum, or a working mum?
I am a stay-at-home mum, I work on my blog when I have time too.
2. Would you have it any other way?
No, I wouldn’t. When my eldest was very young he was at nursery every day so that I could continue with my degree. I missed out on so much of his earliest years, as well as ‘learning’ how to mum, and I regret it.
3. Do you co-sleep?
With my youngest I had a co-sleeper, this made breastfeeding at nighttime much much easier.
4. What is your one must-have item for your baby?
A bouncy chair, with both of my children it worked when they were tiny to get them to sleep. Then when they grew a bit, they used to LOVE bouncing themselves, so it kept them occupied for a bit.
5. How many kids do you plan on having?
Only the 2. I have a boy and a girl, so I feel like our family is pretty even now.
6. Date night? How many nights per month?
Honestly can’t remember the last time we had a date night. It’s hard for us to find a baby sitter a lot of the time, so we make the most of the evenings when the kids are in bed. I have found an awesome little gift for when you’re stuck on what to do for date night from A Year of Dates, you should check em out.
7. Your child’s favourite show?
Mickey Mouse clubhouse. So much so that I made him the clubhouse as a birthday cake.

8. Name one thing you bought before you had your baby and never ended up using?
I actually can’t think of anything? I made sure that I researched things quite thoroughly because money was tight with both pregnancies and I wanted to make sure that I didn’t waste any money.
9. Your child’s favourite food?
PASTA!
10. How many cars does your family have?
We just have the one, and we barely use it, to be honest.
11. Weight gain before pregnancy, during, after and now?
After my first pregnancy, I gained a lot of weight. I think it was about 4 stone? I didn’t gain too much during either pregnancy’s just afterwards!
12. Dream holiday with your kids?
Disneyland, without a doubt
13. Dream holiday without your kids?
Somewhere hot, fancy and beautiful
14. How has your life changed since your baby has been born?
I need much more coffee than I did before, and also they can infuriate you and fill you with love at the same time.
15. Finish the sentence: ‘It makes my heart melt to see …’
My 4-year-old look after my 1-year-old. Seriously he wipes her nose and it’s the cutest thing.
16. Where do you shop for your kids?
Any supermarket and Matalan. They grow so quickly, that I don’t believe in spending a lot of money on clothes for them.
17. Favourite makeup and skincare products?
I love benefit make-up and Soap & Glory bath products.
18. Huggies or Pampers?
I usually use Boots own brand nappies as they are much cheaper and the quality is the same. If I had to choose between the two though, Pampers.
19. Have you always wanted kids?
Yes I did, although I’m not sure I always planned on them being so soon
20. The best part about being a mum?
Knowing that they are always there to cuddle and love
