Christmas morning is (in my opinion) the best morning of the year. It’s where every household has their own Christmas morning traditions. Some of my own are included in these ideas for you if you want to start your own or have a young family that is only just starting to understand Christmas.

Open your stockings.
All in mum and dad’s bed usually! I have some great ideas for stocking stuffers here.
Use disposable cameras.
Or even instant Photos to take photographs so you can relive the morning.
Have a cheeky glass of bubbles or Buck’s Fizz with your breakfast.
If you can’t at Christmas, When can you?! Obviously, the kids could have orange juice and fizzy water they will think it’s extra special and always remember your Christmas morning traditions.

Eat chocolate and sweets
Standard really? I mean, what is Christmas without the kids being hyper, and then being in a sugar coma before midday.
Have a festive, Christmas themed breakfast.
The kids will adore this!
Document with video or photographs.
To see the reactions when the kids see what Father Christmas has left under the tree.
Play Christmas songs as soon as you wake up.
Or have a set song you play to signal the start of Christmas.
